Ultra Short Throw Projectors
Why would you need an ultra short throw ( UST ) projector?
UST projectors are typically used in conjunction with interactive whiteboards and their unique design means that the teacher, lecturer ot trainer is not looking directly into the lamp as the projector is mounted directly above the whiteboard and not in the centre of the room.
They can also be used quite sucessfully without an interactive whiteboard but the projection screen needs to be very flat as the small wrinkles found in most fabric screens can be accentuated and cause the projected image to look wonky

High powered projectors will typically have a light output of between 5000 & 20,000 Lumens but, although ANSI Lumens are a standardised measurement of white light output, not all makes & models of projectors show the same colour intensity at a given light output !
